The slates are approx 1cm thick, for a neat appearance. The slate is very dark, almost black, with a smooth even colour and texture. All house signs are drilled, and supplied with free fixings, screw caps,etc.. or with invisible SECRET FIXINGS.
Choose from Times New Roman, Lucida (top image) or Bangle(bottom image) the letter height is adjusted to fit the sign, so is dependent on the amount of letters required.
